Nuclear Engineering BEng Hons

This three-year BEng course aims to equip you with a sound foundation in the essentials of engineering science, together with a deeper capability in Nuclear Engineering. Through study of this programme, you will be well prepared to become competent scientists or technologists working within subjects allied to engineering. You will study a broad range of topics, starting with Engineering and Engineering Mathematics subjects. You can then choose from a range of modules such as Nuclear Medicine and Nuclear Instrumentation through to Nuclear Engineering Systems and Nuclear Safety. You will develop practical skills and test and analyse your design ideas in the laboratory or through computer simulation using engineering IT tools.
