The International Masters Programme in Geophysics is offered jointly by Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität and Technical University Munich (two of Germany's elite universities) with specialisation possible in either Geodynamics, Seismology or Paleo- and Geomagnetism. As an international programme, the language of instruction would be English. With a strong focus on modelling and simulation, a sound background in mathematics and physics is expected from our applicants. Courses in the international masters programme in Geophysics are organised in mandatory and elective modules. Elective modules allow students to specialise in certain areas of Geophysics and to peek into neighbouring disciplines such as e.g. Geology or Geodesy.
