Luxembourg is a small country with a big reputation. Known for its high standard of living, political stability, and multicultural society, Luxembourg is also a great place to study.
At LSB, you'll find yourself immersed in a vibrant multicultural community. With students from over 70 countries, every day is an opportunity to embrace different perspectives, traditions, and languages. From shared meals to engaging conversations, you'll form lifelong connections that broaden your world view.
With the rest of Europe on your doorstep, exploring the continent is easy. Well-connected by road, rail and air, just hop on a train to visit neighbouring countries like France, Germany, and Belgium. Luxembourg is the first country in the world to offer free public transport nationwide. This means that you can now board any bus, train, or tram in Luxembourg without having to pay a fare. The only exception is for cross-border journeys, where reduced fares will be available for commuters from surrounding countries. Luxembourg has limited student housing options. Renting a studio costs between EUR 700 and EUR 1,200 per month. If you’re looking for cheaper alternatives, consider flat sharing or even living in a neighbouring country such as France, Germany or Belgium.
Beyond its picturesque beauty, Luxembourg offers a high standard of living and a welcoming environment. With a focus on wellbeing, you’ll enjoy a safe and clean atmosphere that nurtures your personal growth. Thanks to its stunning scenery and mild climate, Luxembourg is a great place to get active and enjoy the outdoors. Hike the trails in Mullerthal, bike along the Moselle River valley, or ski in Baraque de Fraiture.
Luxembourg has been named a UNESCO World Heritage site, thanks to the historical importance of its fortifications, and the capital city brims with cultural and recreational activities. Visit world-class museums, galleries, theatres, and historic sites. Luxembourg City also features great restaurants, shops, and a lively nightlife scene.
Luxembourg's thriving job market provides exceptional employment opportunities.
