International Study Trips

The Bachelor in International Business is offered in a  full-time format  throughout  3 years . 

• 4 semesters of core courses
• 1 semester abroad
• 1 specialisation in Finance, Entrepreneurship or Marketing
• 1 mandatory internship
• Students are required to earn  180 ECTS credits  to graduate from the program.
• Classes are taking place from  Monday to Thursday.

Master's Programs in Business at Luxembourg School of Business (LSB)

Luxembourg School of Business (LSB) equips ambitious students with the knowledge and skills to thrive in today's dynamic business environment. LSB offers two distinct Master's programs, each catering to specific career aspirations: The Master in Management (MiM) and the Master in International Finance (MiF) (launching September 2024).

Master in Management (MiM):

Designed for recent graduates from any academic discipline, the 24-month MiM program provides a comprehensive foundation in business and management principles. Delivered entirely in English, the program offers a flexible study model, allowing students to choose between a full-time or part-time format (3 Day Study Model) to accommodate work commitments.

Curriculum:

The first year focuses on core business disciplines like accounting, finance, marketing, human resources, and project management. This strong foundation prepares students for success in a variety of business functions. In the second year, students delve deeper into a chosen specialization, allowing them to tailor their studies to their career goals. Specialization options include:

• Financial Management: Prepares graduates for careers in banking, corporate finance, and investments.
• International Tax (September intake only): An innovative specialization co-developed with industry leaders, equipping graduates to navigate the complexities of international taxation.
• Accounting, Audit & Control (September intake only): Provides a strong foundation for careers in accounting, auditing, finance, and consulting.

Practical Application and Employability:

The MiM program emphasizes practical application, ensuring graduates are job-ready upon completion. A cornerstone of the program is the 6-month paid internship, which allows students to gain valuable real-world experience and establish professional networks in Luxembourg's thriving business community. The curriculum itself is designed with a project-based approach, fostering critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Additionally, dedicated career workshops equip students with essential job search and interview skills, maximizing their employability potential.

Master in International Finance (MiF):

Launching in September 2024, the MiF program provides a specialized and intensive education in international finance. This 2-year, full-time program is designed for students seeking careers in the dynamic world of global finance.

Curriculum:

Building upon a strong foundation in financial theory, the MiF program emphasizes real-world application and industry relevance. Students gain in-depth knowledge of corporate finance, capital markets, derivatives, investment strategies, and sustainable finance – a rapidly growing area of expertise. The curriculum integrates regular interaction with key industry players, ensuring students understand the practical applications of financial theory. In the third semester, students delve deeper by choosing a specialization in either:

• Corporate Finance: Focuses on strategic financial management, mergers and acquisitions, and financial restructuring.
• Capital Markets: Provides expertise in equity and debt markets, derivatives, and investment strategies.

Real-World Focus and Career Preparation:

The MiF program equips students with the skills and experience necessary to excel in the competitive world of international finance. A mandatory 6-month internship allows students to put their theoretical knowledge into practice in a professional setting, either domestically or internationally. The curriculum culminates in a Master Thesis, providing students with the opportunity to conduct in-depth research on a specific topic within the field of finance. Furthermore, a dedicated Employability Module equips students with the necessary skills to navigate the job market and secure top positions.
