This Biomedical Science degree offers the knowledge and laboratory skills students will need to pursue careers of medical discoveries and breakthroughs in understanding human diseases. In this course, students will explore a variety of disciplines including physiology, microbiology, immunology, cell biology, biochemistry and pathology. Students can broaden their scope by including other areas of study such as anatomy, parasitology, haematology, histology and pharmacology. This course incorporates extensive hands-on practical classes from lecturers. Students can combine this course as a double major and recommended majors combines with Biomedical Science include Genetics and Molecular Biology, Clinical Laboratory Science and Forensic Biology and Toxicology.
