The Registered Nurse to Bachelor of Science in Nursing program provides the academic foundation for graduates to keep pace with change, as well as to set the pace for the profession of nursing. Average SAT score is 1230-1390 and average ACT score is 27-32. Admission is competitive and selective. The following minimum requirements must be met to be eligible to apply for admission to the nursing major: associate degree or diploma from an ACEN accredited institution AND completion of five required prerequisites with a grade of C- or better AND minimum GPA on all college-level work of 2.75 on a 4.0 scale. (Most successful applicants have a GPA of 3.0 or better.) AND unrestricted and current RN licensure by the start of NRSADVN 4240 Community Health Nursing AND prerequisite courses completed by the start of the program but can be outstanding at the time of application. For international applicants: diploma from an accredited foreign nursing school and show evidence of academic proficiency AND minimum of two years full-time nursing work experience in the United States preferably in a hospital setting AND taken and passed the National Council Licensing Exam (NCLEX) AND proficiency of English language skills both written and oral.
