B.A. in Music

While the B.A. in music provides sufficient preparation for students to enter graduate music degree programs, many intend to pursue a career in another field. It is possible to earn a double major in other academic disciplines, such as chemistry, economics, English, biology, computer science, physics, psychology, and more. Students interested in pursuing a career in the music business can combine the B.A. Music major with a minor in Management. This program of study provides a solid understanding of the art of music as well as necessary business knowledge to promote a successful career. Those following this program of study can apply for an internship in New York City through the New York Arts Program.
