The Oklahoma City University software engineering major gives graduates programming capabilities, a well-rounded knowledge of computer structures and functioning, extensive hands-on experience with workstations and microcomputer systems, and the benefit of an exceptionally strong foundation in the liberal arts. The academic strengths of the program are complemented by excellent access to computers currently available which include the PC and Apple labs, Arduino microcontrollers and a UNIX lab. Additional computer acquisitions are made on a continuing basis to ensure student access to modern computing facilities. The equivalent of a 3.0 high school grade point average is required for admission into Oklahoma City University's undergraduate programs. Other English Language Requirements: PTE 53, or completion of ELS level 112 is required for most programs.
