Accredited by the Institution of Engineering and Technology on behalf of the Engineering Council for the purposes of fully meeting the academic requirement for registration as an Incorporated Engineer.
This is a one-year course, taught at Brooklands College and Wiltshire College and University Centre, enabling a student from a foundation degree to obtain a BEng (Hons) in Motorsport Technology.
A distinguishing feature of this course is its practical and applied motorsport emphasis, which it derives from industries local to the University and the expertise of the staff. Graduates of the course should be able to work effectively in industry as part of design, development or research teams with the skills necessary to turn concepts into drawings and through to the manufacturing and assembly processes.
