The program aims to train professional figures capable of contributing to the development and management of integrated auto-vehicular systems, by applying constantly updated techniques and methodologies, both for R&D and for the management of production processes.

Thanks to the teaching staff coming from the industry, training is geared to the competitive development of products for the global automotive market.

The new course program that started in 2020/21 and gives strong basic skills about automotive topics, such as consumption reduction and emission control, environmental impact control and the autonomous and connected vehicle.

The course is entirely in English and has four orientations:

PRODUCT DESIGN

AUTONOMOUS AND CONNECTED VEHICLE

PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT

INDUSTRIAL PROCESSES

Furthermore, the course provides double-degree Programs with foreign Universities (Canada and China) and Erasmus Programs for courses or thesis in European Universities. As part of the study plan, students can join teams and design and build prototypes for international university competitions.

The course ends with a thesis, made in collaboration with Politecnico or with companies. The experience in a company is critical: the majority of students who choose to make a thesis in a company, receive a job offer before graduation.

For those who have a strong research vocation, Politecnico offers 2nd Level Masters or Ph.D. programs.
