Purdue University’s School of Engineering Education (ENE) is the world's first such academic unit, originally designed for Ph.D. students who wish to pursue rigorous research in how engineering, science, technology, and math, is best taught, learned, and practiced.  The master’s degree has been added for those who want to understand both the underlying theory and the practical applications but not currently ready to pursue a Ph. D. The online master’s program is offered through Purdue Online - College of Engineering - which is ranked among the top three by U.S. News & World Report.
