Successful completion of this programme partially meets the educational requirement for becoming a Chartered Physicist. This degree course gives students the opportunity to combine their studies with Philosophy, which comprises 25% of the course and introduces them to key elements of philosophy such as ancient philosophy and reason, argument and persuasion. Philosophy, as an addition to their studies, will help them develop and express reasoned arguments, to use logical processing and critical analysis to defend student's position and debate opposing opinions, skills that not only enhance his/her academic abilities but employability too.
