The master's degree is open to holders of:
- a degree in mathematics from the Faculty of Sciences of USJ;
- a bachelor's degree or a first year of a master's degree in mathematics or in a scientific discipline outside USJ, deemed equivalent by the USJ equivalence committee;
- an engineering diploma deemed equivalent by the USJ equivalence committee.
