SLU health information management (HIM) blends the study of medical sciences, health data, information technology, legal concepts and health care management. Students in the health information program learn about the complex rules and regulations impacting health care and health data. This establishes a strong foundation for students interested in going to law school and pursuing a Juris Doctor degree.
This accelerated track enables health information management students to obtain their undergraduate and graduate degrees in six years.
