Samarkand Institute of Economics and Service

Samarkand Institute of Economics and Service founded on February 13, 1931 is one of the leading higher educational institutions of ancient and eternally young Samarkand and the only higher educational institution in Uzbekistan that prepares specialists for the service sector.

The institute employs about 231 professors and teachers. Of these 19 are doctors of science, 82 candidates of science, and a PhD. The institute has 19 departments, most of which unite leading scientists in the fields of economics, finance, management, and service.

The teachers of the institute have written hundreds of textbooks, monographs and teaching aids, thousands of scientific articles have been published that are highly valued by specialists in the fields of research and education.

The institute offers Bachelors, Masters and Doctoral programs in the areas of Economics, Banking and Financial Services, Accounting, Management, Tourism, and Hotel Services
