Through this program, graduates will be able to: Demonstrate competence in Architectural Design fundamentals and principles; Identify, formulate, analyze and solve complex design problems with designing knowledge and technical competencies; Design solutions for complex, open-ended design problems and to design systems, components or processes that meet statutory needs with health, safety, risk, economic, environmental, cultural and societal considerations; Conduct investigations of complex design problems by qualitative & quantitative analysis of data and validate with conclusions; Select and apply drafting, visualization, and building information modelling tools along with appropriate techniques and resources for designing with an understanding of the limitations; Analyze the social and environmental aspects of construction activities with an understanding of sustainability and environmental impact assessment; Understand the impact of architectural solutions in societal and environmental contexts, and demonstrate the knowledge of, and need for sustainable development; AND Communicate ideas within the architectural community and with society at large, such as making effective design presentations, case study analysis, design documentation, being able to comprehend and write effective reports, and give and receive clear instructions.

Admission Requirements

Candidates should have passed 10+2 or HSC or ICSE or equivalent examination with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry, with a minimum of 50% aggregate in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry and also in all the subjects of study at 10+2 level. (5% relaxation for the candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC/BC/PWD) In addition to the eligibility criteria, a candidate should have the valid eligibility in the NATA Examination conducted by Council of Architecture.
