The Halal industry is also increasingly accepted by non-Muslims as a business opportunity and lifestyle today. The program was developed to produce experts in various halal fields such as food and beverages, cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, logistics, Muslim hospitality and the like, with the ability to create solutions for society, in line with Islamic teachings. Malaysian Students Passed Sijil Tinggi Pelajaran Malaysia (STPM) or equivalent with at least Grade C (NGMP 2.0) in 2 subjects and passed Mathematics and English at SPM level; OR Passed Sijil Tinggi Agama Malaysia (STAM) at Jayyid level and passed Mathematics and English at SPM level; OR Passed Matriculation/ Foundation from any HEP with a CGPA of 2.00; OR Passed a Diploma (Level 4 MQR) with a minimum CGPA of 2.00; OR Other equivalent qualifications recognized by the Government of Malaysia. International Students: i. Minimum score of 5.5 in the International English Language Testing System (IELTS) examination or an equivalent qualification. ii. Other relevant equivalent qualifications recognised by Malaysian Government.
