Admission Requirements
Standard entry
(1) Successful completion of an undergraduate degree in any discipline equivalent to an Australian Bachelor degree. Students with an undergraduate degree in IS or IT may be eligible for up to four exemptions and depending on the number of exemption(s) given, will need to complete at least 12 more units to qualify for the award OR
(2) Students with other tertiary degrees (i.e. graduate certificate, graduate diploma) in IS or IT may be eligible for exemptions on a case-by-case basis OR
(3) Successful completion of the Masters Qualifying Program
Special entry
A special entry provision is available for applicants without an appropriate qualification but who have significant relevant work experience* (usually at least five years) and evidence of academic capability (e.g. successful completion of a Certificate or Diploma course at a TAFE with high grades or attaining a GMAT of 550 or higher). Such applicants may be eligible for admission to the Graduate Certificate of Business Information Systems.
* Work experience
Documents substantiating work experience need to be provided on company letterhead and clearly detail roles as well as duties and duration of posts held.
