The Program focuses conceptually on the development and application of Agrosciences in tropical agriculture with two main unifying axes: Innovation and Bioeconomy. The doctoral student will be trained within a line of research, from which the chain of knowledge (existing and new ) and competences converge to the construction of bioeconomies for the new rurality in the context of tropical agriculture. In that order of ideas, the doctoral student regardless of the line will interact with the other doctoral students and doctors from other lines around the agglutinating axes (bioeconomy and innovation) This is how the PhD program in Agro-sciences is not limited to lines of research, but rather they must be expressed by building knowledge and innovation for tropical bioeconomies.
