The Agronomic Engineering Program of the University of La Salle was founded in 2010 and during this time it has fulfilled the mission of contributing to the scientific, technical and humanistic training of agronomists capable of developing agricultural production processes in the context of the integral and sustainable human development. The Agronomic Engineering program is constituted as a unique proposal insofar as it is proposed to generate alternatives for rural development for Colombia and therefore, the understanding and management of the Program is not carried out from the traditional assumptions that are still observed in some scenarios of the Colombian educational system. This educational proposal challenges us regarding the need to understand it as a meaningful training process, which is being configured and reconfigured from the praxis, and in which the novelty, as a product of the innovative attitude, is emerging permanently.
