The Psychology Undergraduate Program offers an updated theoretical and practical training that enables students to work efficiently in clinical, educational and organizational areas. The methodology used encourages the development of diagnosis, and individual and group treatment.
This Program opens the doors to the development of commitment to service, respect and interest in persons to understand and explain their behaviors and mental processes. It also provides strategies to predict people’s actions and intervene in modifying aspects that may enhance their development and welfare in different aspects of their life.
The graduate of the Psychology Program identifies, associates and integrates theory knowledge concerning psychology as a science and profession, making critical, pertinent and effective use thereof in accordance with the different socio-cultural contexts. The graduate applies and evaluates research methods, psychological instruments and intervention programs in the different areas of psychology, selecting strategies that best adapts to the reality under study. The graduate also acts with empathy and leadership according to the ethical principles governing the profession, thus promoting teamwork and interest in continuous learning and social commitment.

A small number of international scholarships to study abroad at the University of Lima are available, covering a small monthly stipend. Read more and apply here. The Universidad de Lima expects exchange students to carry on paying tuition to their university of origin, although international students will be charged US$225 per credit.
To spend a semester abroad at the University of Lima, email the school with your filled in application form, CV, passport scan, statement of purpose, health insurance (after receive acceptance letter), a letter from your university’s exchange coordinator.
