Through  Bachelor of Nutrition and Dietetics, we seek to mitigate the problems and consequences of malnutrition in society, which, despite the progress made in recent years, still has high levels of chronic malnutrition and, at the same time, shows a significant increase in overweight and obesity of adults, children and adolescents. These conditions of malnutrition, in the long term, translate into chronic non-communicable diseases, generating a continuous and increasing demand for health services. Our career is consolidated in a future interdisciplinary profession that is in demand, both in the private and public spheres, to guarantee the country's food security through solid scientific-technological knowledge in the fields of: Nutrition and Dietetics, public and community health, hygiene and food safety, and innovation and development of new food products, which guarantee the practice of healthy habits throughout the life cycle of the person, in different pathophysiological conditions.
