Robotics and Artificial Intelligence Engineering is a discipline that emphasizes a deep understanding of hardware and software aspects—ranging from electronics, embedded systems, sensors and actuators, robot kinematics and dynamics, to machine learning algorithms and computer vision. The TRKB OBE curriculum is designed to provide a theoretical foundation as well as practical experience through labs, real-world task-based projects, the use of ROS, and industrial work practices so that students not only master concepts but are also able to apply them to complex robotic systems and AI solutions. This balanced learning approach ensures that students' technical abilities and laboratory skills continue to develop.
TRKB graduates are expected to exceed the role of mere users or programmers; they must be able to act as analysts, designers, and system integrators who are capable of compiling formal specifications, designing hardware-software architectures, and testing and implementing robotics and AI solutions in an industrial context. In addition to technical competencies, the curriculum instills critical thinking, technical communication, professional ethics, and awareness of the social impact of technology so that graduates are ready to face professional challenges and contribute to responsible innovation.
