This degree will give you a clear understanding of the interface between business activity and the legal framework within which it operates. Studying 50% Business and Management modules and 50% Law subjects, you will receive a solid grounding in both disciplines. You will study how businesses operate in a legal context, and what legal provisions are relevant and important for businesses. Law has an increasing influence on many aspects of business. It governs, for example, contractual arrangements, employment protection, consumer protection and many aspects of accounting and finance. The growing importance of law has created new job opportunities in careers that link business and law. Career opportunities exist in general management, banking and finance, journalism, teaching, legal executive and paralegal professions, therefore studying a degree that combines both disciplines sets you apart in the job market.
