The Doctoral School provides high quality education in clinical and experimental research in the following programs: clinical epidemiology, surgical and non-surgical medical sciences, experimental and clinical oncology. The efficiency of the work of the Doctoral School is proven by the high number of defended PhD dissertations and their quality. The University conducts its programs according to the European Qualifications Framework of the Bologna Process. Thus diplomas attained at the University of Debrecen are generally accepted in the countries of the European Union. Moreover, all our programs are accredited by the Hungarian Accreditation Board which is part of the European Accreditation Board.

Doctor of Medicine/Dentistry/Pharmacy degrees or MSc degree in the field of relevant natural sciences; acceptance by a supervisor and a doctoral school (including a preliminary research proposal signed by the supervisor and the head of the school). Level C2 by CEFR.
