The BA in musical creative art and musicology aims to educate musicians who - with their performing skills, theoretical knowledge, and highly developed musical abilities - enrich and spread Hungarian and European music culture. They can enrich the repertoire of musical knowledge with sophisticated music taste and are able to work in music institutions and at other occupations which require music education. Graduates are able to work at music institutions and at other occupations which require music education. Having achieved a high standard of knowledge, they can continue their studies in one of the MA specializations. The University conducts its programs according to the European Qualifications Framework of the Bologna Process. Thus diplomas attained at the University of Debrecen are generally accepted in the countries of the European Union. Moreover, all our programs are accredited by the Hungarian Accreditation Board which is part of the European Accreditation Board.
