The University of Lethbridge is one of Canada’s top-ranked universities and leading research institutions. 

A comprehensive academic and research university, uLethbridge welcomes more than 8,900 undergraduate and graduate students from around the world to its campuses in Lethbridge and Calgary each year. Located in the heart of Blackfoot Territory, the Lethbridge campus overlooks the Oldman River and is known for its signature Arthur Erickson building. In 2019, uLethbridge opened Science Commons, the most advanced facility for science education and research in Canada.

uLethbridge is home to leading research centres and institutes across disciplines, including the Canadian Centre for Behavioural Neuroscience. Both undergraduate and graduate students work alongside accomplished researchers in a highly supportive and multidisciplinary environment that is grounded in liberal education.

uLethbridge is the only university in Alberta to offer arts and science co-op work experiences for every major at both the undergraduate and graduate levels, and its business program is one of only six percent of business schools worldwide that is accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB).

A city of just over 100,000 residents, Lethbridge is located in southern Alberta and is a short distance from the Rocky Mountains, Calgary and the U.S. border. It is one of Canada’s sunniest cities and the warm westerly Chinook winds give Lethbridge some of the most moderate winters in Western Canada.
