The Spanish major and minor programs highlight historical, economic, social and religious contexts, cultural artifacts, peoples and places, and modes of analysis to deliver a rich academic and social experience. The objective of the Spanish major is to provide oral and written competence in the language and a solid background in the literature and culture of the Spanish-speaking world.
