The program prepares men and women for beginning positions in nursing, provides the means for personal and professional advancement, and qualifies them for progression into programs that offer advanced degrees. The BSN curriculum is rooted in the values of our Jesuit mission and a liberal arts education. Students are taught to think critically and communicate effectively, and to transfer these skills to their nursing practice as well as their community.The program utilizes a hands-on approach to nursing education. Students have the opportunity to strengthen their clinical skills and evaluation techniques.
