The review process also utilized the DACUM process of curriculum development as the program offered is considered as new being offered as a diploma program. The whole curriculum review process followed 8 phases that were strictly implemented, monitored and critiqued by relevant experts. All inputs, comments, suggestions and recommendations were considered noteworthy subject to the approval of the competent authorities.
In consonance to the PQF-AQRF, the College of Technology subscribe to the academic continuum of PQF Level 5 to PQF Level 6 where relevant Diploma programs are so designed in such a way the students will have National Certifications in each level and an option for occupational exit points as reflected by the Technology Program Continuum of USTP. Hence, the continuum offers the clientele the option for educational and occupational opportunities at the same time continuum to baccalaureate degrees up to relevant graduate programs.
