The Master of Fine Arts (MFA) in Visual Arts is a terminal degree and is the preferred degree for the practicing artist who is preparing for a professional career in the visual arts. Applicants must have completed the equivalent of a U.S. bachelor’s degree. Other English Language Requirements accepted: Students must have a paper-based TOEFL score of 550 and a computer-based score of 213; MELAB (Michigan English Language Assessment Battery) with a score of at least 77.
