This occupational therapy programme is accredited by the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and the Royal College of Occupational Therapists (RCOT). Successful graduates holding our BSc (Hons) Occupational Therapy qualification are entitled to apply for registration to practice. At York St John University, students have the opportunity to work with a lecturer on a new or ongoing piece of research. This Student as Co-Researcher (SCoRe) initiative currently has projects in place that work with asylum seekers, refugees, older people in care homes and in the development of a York St John University Occupational Therapy student Continuous Professional Development portfolio.
