This degree allows you to study the Asia-Pacific nations from historical, economic, political, social and cultural perspectives. Core modules will lay the foundations of your study, exploring the history, politics and economics of the region. From there, you’ll tailor your studies to suit your interests by choosing from a very wide range of optional modules. You could learn Chinese, Japanese or Thai from beginner level, and even spend a year abroad to develop your language skills. You could study East Asian religions, modern Thai history, politics in Korea or Japanese cinema.
