Manufacturing Engineering is the discipline of turning raw materials into new products, and the research and development of new manufacturing processes, machines, tools and equipment.

Our Manufacturing Engineering course has been developed to provide industry with graduates possessing a wide range of professional engineering knowledge and skills necessary to overcome the modern manufacturing and production challenges.

Manufacturing engineers manufacture products to the correct specification, in the right quantity, as efficiently as possible, anywhere in the world. The course is broad based and allows you to gain a detailed knowledge of manufacturing technologies and processes, combined with technology management, business organisation and human resource management skills.

Throughout the courses, skills are developed, and our graduates are ideally placed to develop manufacturing engineering career roles across many different industrial sectors.

This course provides an excellent platform for graduates wishing to register with the Engineering Council as an Incorporated Engineer or to progress to Chartered Engineer status after further academic learning. The transferable skills which graduates develop on our degree should also suit them to employment and career routes in a wide variety of professions.
