Learn the skills necessary to understand the science of behavior and mental processes to help others.
As a Psychology student at EUC you gain an understanding of why people behave in a certain way or how to overcome negative patterns of behavior that could prevent them from reaching their full potential. Grounded in practice and theory, the program focuses on understanding how people think, develop, and interact. Students learn how the brain works, how it changes with age, and how humans perceive and interpret behavior. The program also emphasizes the social and educational aspects of psychology, as well as the qualitative and quantitative skills required for research, with strong emphasis on methodological training and statistics, and practice in the field.
The degree provides practical training in research, under the supervision of department faculty. Our graduates are well prepared for further study which allows them to specialize in areas such as Clinical Psychology, Educational Psychology, Developmental Psychology, Counselling and Guidance. Our students who pursue postgraduate studies are eligible for registration with the Cyprus Registration Board for Professional Psychologists.

Admission Requirements
- A completed application form together with a non-refundable fee of €52. Applicants may also apply on line here.
- Official copy of High School Leaving Certificate and grade marksheet in English
- Proof of English language proficiency (if any)*
- Passport sized photo
- Copy of a valid passport (for international applicants only)
*Proof of English language proficiency : Knowledge of the English language is not a requirement for admission. At European University Cyprus, applicants whose native language is not English take the university’s English Placement Test (EPT) upon arrival at the university to indicate their English level and be placed in appropriate courses. Applicants who have passed either the TOEFL examination with a minimum score of 550 (213 computer-based, 79 Internet-based), English IGCSE with grade ‘C’ or above, or IELTS with a score of 6. 5 or above are exempted from the EPT. Other external exams may be accepted by the Language Center of the University as equivalent. Please consult with the Office of Admissions for more details. Candidates, whose English proficiency is not up to the university’s standard, have the opportunity to take additional English language classes according to their degree requirements.
