The BSc in Sports Science and Physical Education at EUC provides students with knowledge in the basic life sciences of biology, nutrition, physiotherapy and anatomy. Students take full advantage of EUC’s sports center, gym and physical therapy center. In their last year, students can choose between the specializations of Competitive Sport – Coaching or Exercise and Health to focus on their own interests and career goals.
Graduates are able to work as Physical Education teachers at all educational levels in the public and private sector. Practical training in schools, sports clubs, sports associations, fitness and wellness centers and rehabilitation centers prepares graduates for immediate employment.

Admission Requirements
- A completed application form together with a non-refundable fee of €52. Applicants may also apply on line here.
- Official copy of High School Leaving Certificate and grade marksheet in English
- Proof of English language proficiency (if any)*
- Passport sized photo
- Copy of a valid passport (for international applicants only)
*Proof of English language proficiency : Knowledge of the English language is not a requirement for admission. At European University Cyprus, applicants whose native language is not English take the university’s English Placement Test (EPT) upon arrival at the university to indicate their English level and be placed in appropriate courses. Applicants who have passed either the TOEFL examination with a minimum score of 550 (213 computer-based, 79 Internet-based), English IGCSE with grade ‘C’ or above, or IELTS with a score of 6. 5 or above are exempted from the EPT. Other external exams may be accepted by the Language Center of the University as equivalent. Please consult with the Office of Admissions for more details. Candidates, whose English proficiency is not up to the university’s standard, have the opportunity to take additional English language classes according to their degree requirements.
