The goal of the Dual Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science and Sociology is to form specialists and professionals prepared to understand and analyze the complexities of politics from a sociological perspective with rigor and in-depth scrutiny. Through a solid foundation of essential knowledge, abilities and skills in the area of political science and administration, it fosters critical analysis in students and their interest in national and international politics. The study of social problems, inequalities and contemporary societies, along with education in sociological theory, offers students an in-depth understanding of social reality while providing them a solid education in research methods focused on different social environments. These studies include all the content that is taught in both degree programs separately. At the end of the program, students will receive two degrees, one in Political Science and another in Sociology, with the professional advantages that this entails.

All persons applying for admission to the universities of Madrid in the pre-enrollment process participate with a score of up to 14 points, consisting of two parameters:

  • Qualification for Admission to Spanish University (CAU in Spanish): up to 10 points.
  • Improvement of the admission grade: up to 4 points.
