In its current guise, the Master’s degree in Legal Practice has developed in response to the requirements of the Law 34/2006 of 30 October regulating access to the professions of lawyer and court procedural representative (procurador), a legal reform that was taken as an opportunity to structure a postgraduate program that will improve training of law graduates thus facilitating access to the job market. The University Master in Labor Legal Consulting is a specialized training program which responds to a need for professionals specializing  in the prevention and resolution of individual and group labour conflicts, advising businesses and workers alike, as well as their social organizations, within the framework of labour relations, mainly in the private sector. The Program is particularly suited to graduates in law and labour relations or labour sciences with or without professional experience, who plan to pursue a career in legal and labour related advisory services. The basic activities involved in exercise of this profession include  extra-procedural advice in labour conflicts of all kinds,  correct planning of labour relations within the European and Spanish regulatory framework, procedural representation and defense, in lawsuits and appeals in Social Jurisdiction, the management of alternative procedures for dispute settlement, consultancy and defense within the framework of work activities, work in corporate legal departments, business organizations, unions, public bodies or in corporate human resources departments.
