Students of MSc in Biological Sciences are part of a dynamic, research-intensive environment and are surrounded by excellent facilities and state-of-the-art laboratory equipment for all fields of biological research. Students may specialize in either Cell and Molecular Biology; Ecology and Evolution; Neurobiology and Physiology; or Plant Sciences and Oenology Viticulture. Applicant is required to submit a Statement of Research Interest which is no more than two pages in length, in which applicants indicate their career aspirations/plans, specific research interests, and experience relevant to their interests. A potential thesis supervisor must have been contacted and he/ she must be identified in the statement of intent. Acceptance into the program requires that a faculty member in the Department of Biological Sciences agrees to supervise the student’s research program.
