Civil Engineering is a challenging profession with a broad field of study. Queen's University has developed an innovative program with a choice of emphasis on either the infrastructure or the environmental fields. We have redesigned our courses: to encourage self learning, to develop a strong base of infrastructure and environmental knowledge, to emphasize communication, leadership, teamwork and problem solving skills, and, to develop positive attitudes and values towards environmental, social and professional ethics. Courses are interesting and challenging with an emphasis on small class sizes and individual attention.
