The Computer Engineering program at Queen’s University is accredited by the Canadian Engineering and Accreditation Board (CEAB). There are program requirements mandated by CEAB that govern the content of our program. In particular, CEAB requires that  Computer Engineering students from Queen’s University take a minimum number of technical electives and complementary studies courses and that students take a certain number of academic units (AU) in each of the following areas: Natural Sciences (NS), Engineering Science (ES), Engineering Design (ED), Mathematics (M), and Complementary Studies (CS).
