As a Management major at SUU, you will be a part of small classes that allow your professors to get to know you well. Professors are academically strong and have extensive real world management experience. As an undergraduate, you will have opportunities to collaborate with your professors on academic research projects, if desired. This can be a differentiator on your application to graduate school or when you are looking for a job in management. Today Southern Utah University holds the proud distinction of being the only college or university in Utah that holds SAP recognition. SAP (Systems, Applications, and Products in Data Processing) is the world’s largest inter-enterprise software company in the world. SUU’s Management Program employs a dedicated Business Career Coach to help locate and arrange internships for management students wanting to add sought-after real world experience to their resumes. In addition, the Management degree program partners with the Cedar City Small Business Development Center to give students opportunities to consult with local businesses as part of their capstone experience. A new addition to the Management bachelor’s program is the School of Business Certificate program. Through this program, students can enhance their qualifications, set themselves apart from other job applicants, and take a step toward specialization in International Business, Entrepreneurship and Small Business Management, and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and SAP. By the time you complete the Management bachelor’s program, you will be well prepared to enter the job market or apply to an MBA or other graduate program. More than 90 percent of our Management graduates find employment in their field within six months of graduation. Career for Management Graduates Earning a Management bachelor’s degree from Southern Utah University prepares you to hold a wide range of entry-level management positions.
