This MSc allows students to build a comprehensive and in-depth understanding of the process of innovation, technical change and the valuation and development of new entrepreneurial ideas. The interdisciplinary program blends strategic, managerial, organizational and economic approaches to offer insights in the process of innovation and technological change. Students develop the analytical skills, decision-making abilities and a problem-solving attitude. Learning is facilitated by a variety of courses, real-world case studies, peer-to-peer collaboration, interaction with top scholars and speakers from the business community, thematic workshops and direct involvement in research projects. A partnership with the Bocconi University incubator, Bocconi for Innovation (B4i), allows participants to develop the skills necessary to develop an entrepreneurial idea and create a startup. Graduates may take on roles related to the analysis of innovation projects in institutions and regulatory authorities, or hold managerial positions in innovation-focused business organizations. They may also create and launch their own startup or undertake a PhD program.
