Students learn techniques for extracting information from large data sets and communicating them in order to influence the strategic decisions of the organizations they work for. The program provides a strong foundation in theoretical and applied statistics and machine learning. Students develop advanced skills in computer science that are crucial for building algorithms and programming tools, along with quantitative skills and knowledge of corporate dynamics to support management in making strategic decisions grounded on data analysis. With the choice of two tracks in Data Science and Business Analytics, educational activities promote teamwork and presentation skills and an understanding of the ethical and legislative limits of the use of large-scale databases.
