This program is designed for students with a passion for mathematics, computer science and the development of intelligent systems. It combines solid theoretical training with hands-on exploration of the main applications of AI and machine learning. Students study advanced methods for designing intelligent systems, diving deep into subjects such as applied mathematics, software engineering, deep learning, natural language processing and image processing. After admission, students choose between two tracks. The Milan Track allows students to complete most or all of the program in Milan, attending courses taught by Bocconi faculty and professors, while collaborating closely with classmates and a network of academics and professionals. In the Turin Track, students complete the second semester of the second year in Turin. The track includes an internship at the Italian Research Institute for Artificial Intelligence for Industrial Impact (AI4I). Graduates of both tracks will have immediately applicable real-world skills and a competitive profile, particularly if they choose to continue their studies with a PhD. Upon graduation, students will have the knowledge and skills to work as artificial intelligence specialists (intelligent system specialists or machine learning engineers) to build advanced systems used in manufacturing, the service sector, the public sector, finance, or the health and medical sciences.
