The Faculty of Law offers a master's degree program in Criminal Law, which began in the first semester 2005/2006. The program aims at preparing professional legal staff as well as providing the legal library with tools of distinctive legal research. The faculty is looking forward to introducing programs related to the local community development and electronic advances. The mission is providing an educational environment that deepens legal knowledge and encourages critical thinking and creativity in order to prepare distinguished legal cadres scientifically and practically that contribute to the consolidation of the concept of justice and the rule of law, also stimulate legal research to enrich and develop education together with legal research through law education according to an analytical and critical approach that balances the requirements for knowledge of legal theories, Jurisprudence opinions and judicial trends in one hand and between responding to the continuous developments at both local and global levels to meet the needs of the evolving society in other hand.

Admission Requirements
Students who intend to enroll in a Master's Degree Program need to have a valid TOEFL or IELTS certificate. Alternatively, they need to pass six credit hours (two courses) of English proficiency. The AAU University adheres to latest instructions stipulated by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research with this regard.
