The Department of Interior Design was founded in 2000. It has been granted programmatic and institutional accreditation by the Ministry of Higher Education and Academic Research. It is a technical major focusing on developing students’ skills in dealing with interior space creatively and efficiently, and in generating human befitting ambience. It includes a group of specialized academic staff in addition to staff from other related fields who constantly support and update the study plan. The mission is providing pioneering and innovative programs that keep pace with global developments in accordance with the concept of quality education, learning and scientific research, to prepare creative interior designers who are able to lead, compete and meet the needs of the labor market in line with local and global standards.

Admission Requirements
Students who intend to enroll in a Master's Degree Program need to have a valid TOEFL or IELTS certificate. Alternatively, they need to pass six credit hours (two courses) of English proficiency. The AAU University adheres to latest instructions stipulated by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research with this regard.
