There is a growing national and international interest in the circular economy as a framework to achieve sustainable growth that respects people and the environment.

This model places essential virtues and the common good at the center of the economic paradigm. It proposes a resilient, inclusive, freer economy, and creates opportunities for each and every one of the members of a society.

The circular economy promotes productivity tailored to man, and not a conception of the person tailored to productivity. It envisions long-term productivity and consumption, while addressing challenges such as climate change, pollution, and biodiversity loss.

The United Nations, the European Union, countries and companies have established circular economy and sustainability objectives for the coming decades. There will therefore be strong growth in all related job categories, with an approximate 12% increase in employment forecast for 2028.
