At CEU we want to ease your way through the admissions process (entrance exams, registration, etc) so that it turns out to be smooth, simple and tailored to your needs. You will manage your application online, and will be guided through all the stages by our admission counselors - our caring, approachable and extremely professional team will always
be happy to help you!
In general terms, to apply for a place at any CEU centre you will have to send all the required documentation to the admissions process, pass an interview and also a language test, when applicable. An academic commission will then study your application and offer you a place if your profile meets the necessary requirements. Please note that in certain cases, such as Medicine / Dentistry / Veterinary Medicine, additional requirements regulations may apply.

Can I study in English at CEU?
Our four universities offer a wide range of undergraduate and postgraduate courses. Although the majority of courses are offered in Spanish, there is a vast selection of degrees which are taught either in a bilingual mode (Spanish/English), or entirely in English.
When browsing our academic offer, make sure that the teaching language corresponds to your expectations: ESP, ENG or ESP/ENG!
When does the application process start?
Each CEU university operates independently, which means that the admission process may start in different dates depending on the centre.
In general terms, the process opens in November (undergraduate degrees) and February (postgraduate degrees), so make sure to keep this date in mind if you want to submit your application - and remember that applications are not shared by our four universities, you will need to send your application separately to each one in case you are interested in more than one CEU centre.
When does the academic year start?
For undergraduate degrees, there is only one intake starting in September every year, while most postgraduate degrees start in November/December. Please refer to the program's website for specific information.
Is there an admission test or exam I need to take?
Other than the general academic documentation and a language test to prove your competencies in Spanish or English (when applicable), there is no specific access exam to any university of our group - of course each candidate will need to pass an admission process to make sure he/she is eligible!
For certain degrees related to health studies (Medicine, Dentistry, Veterinary Medicine...), there might be special access conditions and even an exam. Please refer to the following links to get detailed information:

At CEU we want to ease your way through the admissions process (entrance exams, registration, etc) so that it turns out to be smooth, simple and tailored to your needs. You will manage your application online, and will be guided through all the stages by our admission counselors - our caring, approachable and extremely professional team will always be happy to help you!
In general terms, to apply for a place at any CEU centre you will have to send all the required documentation to the admissions process, pass an interview and also a language test, when applicable. An academic commission will then study your application and offer you a place if your profile meets the necessary requirements. Please note that in certain cases, such as Medicine / Dentistry / Veterinary Medicine, additional requirements regulations may apply.

Frequently Asked Questions
CEU is the largest, not-for-profit educational institution in Spain, and the only one operating four different universities: CEU Madrid, CEU Barcelona, CEU Valencia, and CEU Sevilla.
All of them share the same values and quality standards, but operate independently.
Our four universities offer a wide range of undergraduate and postgraduate courses. Although the majority of courses are offered in Spanish, there is a vast selection of degrees which are taught either in a bilingual mode (Spanish/English), or entirely in English.
When browsing our academic offer, make sure that the teaching language corresponds to your expectations: ESP, ENG or ESP/ENG!
Each CEU university operates independently, which means that the admission process may start in different dates depending on the centre.
In general terms, the process opens in November (undergraduate degrees) and February (postgraduate degrees), so make sure to keep this date in mind if you want to submit your application - and remember that applications are not shared by our four universities, you will need to send your application separately to each one in case you are interested in more than one CEU centre.
For undergraduate degrees, there is only one intake starting in September every year, while most postgraduate degrees start in November/December. Please refer to the program's website for specific information.
Other than the general academic documentation and a language test to prove your competencies in Spanish or English (when applicable), there is no specific access exam to any university of our group - of course each candidate will need to pass an admission process to make sure he/she is eligible!
