Given the growing demand expressed by the Spanish society for psychological services with a high degree of specialization, psychology graduates need to expand their scientific knowledge and must tend towards specialization in order to face the world of work with guarantees .
The Master's Degree in General Health Psychology is proposed as an advanced, professionalizing postgraduate program in the clinical field of Health Psychology, which will allow graduates to exercise the titled and regulated profession of General Health Psychologist, whose exercise requires being in possession of the corresponding official Master's degree.
The Master will allow psychologists to be trained to work, from the perspective of the qualified and regulated profession of General Health Psychologist, in various psychological assistance devices, such as private consultations in liberal practice, health centers in primary health care, educational centers and special psychoeducational care, child development and early care centers, care centers for minors and battered women, psychosocial rehabilitation centers for the chronically ill, care centers for people with dementia, residential centers for the elderly, intervention centers in drug addiction, etc.

Admission Requirements
In order to access the Master's degree, it will be necessary to pass a personal interview, in which the director or coordinators of the master's degree will assess the applicant's previous knowledge and vocation. In addition, the following will be taken into account:
- Academic record of the studies that enable access to the Master: 50%.
- Applicant's Curriculum Vitae: 30%.
- Other merits (professional, academic, entrepreneurial): 20%.
- Level B2 in Spanish for foreign students.
- Capacity for abstraction.
- Willingness to make an effort, to work and to excel.
- Possess discipline for organized study.
- Capacity for analysis and synthesis, creativity and logical reasoning.
- Disposition for autonomous learning.
- Willingness to work in the field and in the laboratory.
- Willingness to coordinate and work as a team.
- Properly use oral and written language.
- An adequate level of English.
- A social and ethical commitment to the individual and society.
- Attitudes such as a vocation for service, tolerance, a sense of responsibility.
